“A Fragile Thread of Hope is the story of my quest to rescue homeless young people before they fall into the hands of predators and traffickers who roam the streets of even small towns like my own Redmond, Oregon. For me, this abuse was inflicted by my own family until, at age 17, I found a path to survivorship. The book combines my personal story with the stories of four young women rescued by Beulah’s Place, our local non-profit in Central Oregon. Their journeys from homelessness or trafficking into a new life are riveting, the voices are authentic, and the outcomes are poignant and filled with hope.”
